M.Sc., Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Stefan Manzer studied Communications- and Media Technologies at the University of Applied Sciences in Jena. He completed his studies as a graduated engineer (UAS) in 2006 with a diploma thesis in the field of "Electromagnetic Compatibility of Integrated Circuits". He further studied at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and graduated as a Master of Sciences (M.Sc.) in 2008 with a master's thesis in "Optical signal transmission in 100 Gigabit metropolitan area networks".
Mr. Manzer worked 4 years in the patent department at the good address of international group Giesecke & Devrient, where he could gain experiences in the fields of innovation management, patent strategies and licensing. He then moved to a renowned Munich IP Law firm to help supporting clients as a junior partner in the technical fields of signal processing, high-frequency technologies, circuit design, lighting technologies and mobile communications technologies. There he deepened his skills in the field of patent litigation.
Mr. Manzer entered the profession in 2006 and has advanced experiences in drafting and prosecuting of German, European and international patent applications as well as opposition and nullity proceedings in all fields of electrical engineering, optical engineering and mechanical engineering. He is an authorized representative before the German Patent and Trademark Office (GPTA), the German Federal Patent Court (FPC), the European Patent Office (EPO) and the Office of the European Union Intellectual Property (EUIPO).
