Dr. Christoph Hermann
Dipl.-Phys. Dr. Christoph Hermann, born in 1981, finished his studies in physics (diploma) and biophysics (diploma) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in 2006, specializing in semiconductors and neurophysics. He did his diploma thesis and Ph.D thesis at the Max-Planck Institute of Biochemistry researching in the field of neuronal learning in a cell-chip interface by culturing brain tissues on integrated circuits. After receiving his doctorate from the Technical University of Munich in 2011 (title of thesis: Mapping of Local Networks and Synaptic Long-term Plasticity in Hippocampal Slices with CMOS chip), he started at the IP firm Ter Meer, Steinmeister & Partner GbR.
